GT will be on “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” this year. Supposedly, he’s new to the concept of the show, but not as much as I am — I had no idea eating live fish could be good preparation for TV shows….
I tend to forget to update about new roles, but I couldn’t ignore the news that George will appear in the upcoming video game Red Alert 3. Why not? Because it looks like he’ll be wearing a pretty cool costume — check out the photo in this long mostly-unrelated post on AfterElton.com, which is the only place I’ve seen it, if you doubt me.
Invisible things have changed. The permalink format is now simpler, the gallery is now made up of smaller files (you can’t tell — I just changed the file format) and I’ve upgraded Wordpress. Yay!

After 21 years together, George Takei and Brad Altman are finally getting married. Congratulations, George and Brad!
On a personal note, as a gay Californian myself, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the state Supreme Court for their conscientious work, and to all the people and groups that have struggled to make it possible for people like George — and me — to experience this “dream within a dream” that has for so long been denied to us.
George Takei turns 71 today. Hope you have a good one, George!

Star Trek New Voyages “World Enough and Time” is now available for download. Initially, it was available only as a stream and the server was rapidly overloaded, but the torrent is now up. Yay!
